TL;DRAll ischemic stroke survivors should be given antiplatelet drugs or anticoagulant agents,except in cases of extremely short life expectancy or substantial contraindications, and physicians should strengthen their efforts to instruct stroke patients to take antithrombotic drugs in more details.
