Abstract
We read with great interest Baboker et al ’s [ 1 ] study comparing crystalloid preloading and co-loading to prevent spinal-induced hypotension during elective cesarean delivery. The authors have addressed an important clinical issue in obstetric anesthesia by evaluating fluid strategies to prevent spinal anesthesia-induced hypotension. This study provides valuable evidence supporting the role of crystalloid co-loading in improving maternal hemodynamic stability and reducing complications during cesarean delivery. We appreciate the authors’ efforts in exploring this topic; however, the study has the following limitations that warrant consideration.
TL;DRThis study provides valuable evidence supporting the role of crystalloid co-loading in improving maternal hemodynamic stability and reducing complications during cesarean delivery. (Semantic Scholar)
