Innovative methods in German language teaching at primary schools

The Diploma Thesis deals with innovative methods in German language teaching at primary schools with a special focus on the method of Language Animation. The first part of the Thesis describes unusual innovative methods and maps their specificities. The greatest attention is paid to active learning methods in teaching foreign languages. The second, practice-oriented part is focused on the progressive innovative method of Language Animation . The aim of the Thesis is to offer attractive Language Animation-based activities in German language teaching at primary schools. Materials that supplement lesson plans are attached in appendices. Enclosed with the Diploma Thesis is a DVD with a fifteen-minute demonstration of Language Animation
