Economic impacts of migration and population growth: research report

The Australian Government has asked the Commission to examine the impacts of migration and population growth on Australia’s productivity and economic growth. The Commission has been requested to report on: the nature of international migration flows the impact of migration, particularly skilled migration, on the labour force, occupations, industries and regions the effects of migration and population growth on productivity and economic growth legislative and other impediments preventing Australia from realising productivity gains from migration and population growth.&nbsp
