Abstract
The dissemination of data stream systems, wireless networks and mobile devices motivates the need for an efficient data analysis tool capable of gaining insights about these continuous data streams. Ubiquitous data mining (UDM) is concerned with this problem. UDM is the time-critical process of pattern discovery in data streams in a wireless environment. In this paper, the state of the art of mining data streams is given and our approach in tackling the problem is presented. The paper also highlights the addressed and open issues in the field.Upprättat; 2004; 20080213 (ysko
